An important feature of the portal is integration with the Once Only Technical System (OOTS), a European Union-level initiative that eliminates the need to present the same documents to multiple institutions. Thus, if a document or information has already been submitted to a public institution from another EU member country, it can be automatically retrieved through the portal, without requiring the user to submit the document again. This simplifies processes and significantly reduces bureaucracy.

The portal allows public institutions to enroll and expose their services to citizens and companies.
